What fun is an outdoor adventure if you can’t bring the whole family? Colorado Teardrops was born from a family that likes to camp. We tried to think of everything and make our trailers comfortable and useful for the whole family to enjoy. More and more we see families looking to a camping solution that is practical and useful for campers of all ages.
Colorado Teardrops are designed to perform effortlessly on all kinds of terrain. Before there is any adventure, there is the journey to your camp site, and as a parent, the last thing I want to worry about is “is my trailer going to make it?” And, let’s face it, if you’ve got a car full of family, your trailer is the last thing you want to stress about. Pack it, hitch it up and off you go. Just one of the many reasons we make family camping a breeze.
One of the biggest rules of camping is the “pack in/pack out” rule. This means that you’ll need room to take everything with you and bring everything back home. And since kids can come with lots of stuff – books, games, change of clothes for all kinds of weather – you’ll need the room.
Not a problem in a Colorado Teardrop. We’ve planned for maximum storage in our trailers. If you’re camping with a family, the Summit or Mt. Massive models are likely your best bet, as it has tons of room to pack the essentials and even some luxuries. The cabin will fit a queen sized bed so when you’re not sleeping, you have lots of room for toys, books, games and anything else you need for family fun after a day of adventure. Additionally, you’ll find room for additional storage on the trailer frame tongue of our small campers.
While it is true that you don’t go on a camping trip just to sleep, it should be effortless!
After a long day’s adventure, you want to get a comfortable night’s rest. You’ll be happy to know another great advantage of a Teardrop camper is the sleeping space. You are up off the ground and better able to control temperature.
Inside the Summit and Mt. Massive four-person camper trailers you’ll find a queen-sized bed and two bunk beds for a 4 person teardrop camper trailer. Of course, if you have a tent-camping loyalist in your family, you can always step out of the trailer and sleep under the stars. We’ve found that families like being able to be in the same place when camping with the kiddos.
We get it, kids can be picky eaters and sometimes the more options you have the better. Your camping fare doesn’t have to be hot dogs and s’mores – they can be included but with a large galley you’ll be able to expand your dining options. The galley in our four person camper models boast a 15×60 countertop and lots of storage behind and below. With all this storage you can pack favorite snacks, drinks and options for meals that will suit lots of tastes. After a long fun-filled day, you deserve a good meal and an easy way to prepare it.
