De-winterize Your Colorado Teardrop Overland Camper
Remember everything you did to prepare your camper trailer or RV for winter? Schedule Maintenance
If any damage has occurred over the winter, now is the time to fix it. Even if your teardrop trailer came through the winter unscathed, it’s never wrong to schedule some annual maintenance, such as rotating the tires and replacing dead batteries Schedule some yearly maintenance for a hassle-free teardrop trailer camping season.

Give it a Spring Clean
Even if your teardrop is spotless from the winter, give it a deep clean anyway. This will reveal any hidden damage that may have occurred and eliminate germs from rodents or other critters that may have managed to pass through during the cold season. A good clean, as well as fresh sheets and blankets, and maybe a new spin on interior decor, will provide endless inspiration for hitting the road and hanging out in your home on wheels.
Refresh and Restock
Bring back in any gear removed for the season. Restock dry goods, cleaning supplies, dishes, towels, sheets, blankets – anything you took out of your teardrop camper for the winter needs to go back in.
Make Sure Paperwork is Up to Date
Gather up your paperwork and make sure your registration and insurance are up to date. Place new tags on your teardrop camper and put paperwork in an easy-access place, should you need it.
Unearth and print out your camping checklist and check it twice.
