Treat yourself to a lovely new notebook or journal to keep track of your adventures! Keeping track of where you’ve traveled can help you decide what is next or where you’d like to go back, or what worked or didn’t work with your last outdoor meal, or what could be done better next time.  

Get Your Map Out!

Now that you have a smaller camper trailer, you’ll be able to visit many more places – incredible locations that the larger RVs can’t get to. Now is a great time to put together your bucket-list and start mapping out all the beautiful places you’ll go – National Parks, Bureau of Land Management sites and more. The possibilities are (nearly) endless.

And while you’re at it, make sure you check the rules and regulations about all the great new places on your list and look at the state departments of tourism, chambers of commerce and any resource you can find online. Likely your journey and your destination contain some hidden gems, so don’t miss out!

Make a List and Check it Twice!

Camping in a Colorado Teardrop is much different than tent camping or car camping – you’re going to want some gear for your new crib. You’ll want to deck out your dedicated galley for meal prep and kitchen storage for starters.  Our Gear page has some of our favorite recommendations for things like stoves.

Then, you might want to decorate your cabin-like interior. You’ll also have other storage options to consider, so you’ll need some thought about organization. Keep a running list of what you’ll want and need, and then you can look for deals or sales to get your new teardrop trailer outfitted.
