Introducing the Pinnacle Edition

While some RVers make a u-turn when the terrain gets rough, the Colorado Pinnacle Edition heads straight on for that perfect secluded camping spot. So let’s get first to what is standard on every Canyonland and Summit teardrop Camper, Full Steel Plate underbelly, yes they actually make their own trailer platforms out of steel and full 1.5″ aluminum cabin frame for rock-solid adventuring built for decades of memories. Each trailer comes with 3 layers of insulation blessed by a CU Physicist Professor and a second 2″ rear hitch for bike racks, and back galley kitchen for easy access cooking and storage.

So now let’s get to the Pinnacle Limited Edition.
The Pinnacle Edition offered on the larger cabin Summit, now includes a Lock-n-Roll Articulating hitch for stress-less pulling over gnarly terrain, a Nerf Bar for added cabin protection and a 3500 lbs Timbren axle-less suspension with 5200 lbs spindles for precise maneuvering, and standard 33″ BF Goodrich Off-Road Radial T/

As for added clearance and yes, it looks tough too. Speaking of looks, the Pinnacle edition makes the flat out gorgeous Pine Beetle Kill wood interior as standard. Need to get up to the top rack, go ahead and stand on the fender and check out the fantastic view of Moab, the Continental Divide, X, you know what I’m talking about.

The smaller and agile Canyonland Pinnacle Edition has same articulating hitch, Nerf Bar, pine beetle wood, and uses a one 1 Tonne Timbren Axle-less Suspension with electric Brakes (standard on the Summit) for precise maneuvering.

So taking a line from a local Boulder legend and teardrop traveler, Warren Miller, “If you don’t do it this year, you will be one year older when you do.” If exploring is in your DNA, then throw a dart at the map, pack some clothes, food, and your favorite beverage, turn up you go to playlist, and head out!

The Details:

Colorado Teardrops Canyonland Pinnacle model is 5′ x 8.5′ and weighs 1250 lbs. It is shrouded in 1.5 inches of foam insulation over the front, top and galley door. The exterior is then covered in transparent anodized aluminum (many colors available). With a welded aluminum cabin frame, you’ll have a tough, light and sturdy cabin. The bottom of the trailer is also sealed and protected with a steel powder coated plate making our trailers built to last from top to bottom.

· The pinnacle Canyonland includes wood in the  interior and Galley sealed in a low VOC Polyurethane for a great look, easy cleanup, and durability. Within the Cabin is a 14″x14” pop up vent, enough room for a queen sized mattress (4″ x 60″ x” 78″ foam) and two reading lights and center cabin light.

· Interior shelving for easy access and storage are found within the cabin, and a pop-in inside table also stows in the additional floor storage.

· There are two doors into the cabin with locks and keys. These are 26″ x 36″ with a sliding window that opens halfway. Plus, there are screens on the windows and vent to keep bugs and debris outside.

· Two locking handles open the galley, the galley door opens to a 6′ 6″ clearance and is supported by two 100 lb. springs, making it easy to open and close.

· Inside the standard galley is a 30″ x 58″ countertop. Below the countertop is a diamond plate aluminum for coolers, water, and stove. Behind the counter area, there are three areas for storage of food, plates, silverware, cleanup tub, paper towel hanger, etc., the two far ends have 2 additional shelves each.

· The trailer suspension is an upgraded 1 Tonne Timbren Axle-less Suspension and supports 33″ BF Goodrich Off-Road Radial T/A tires. This teardrop has our highest clearance at 21”.
